Security levels allow you to quickly monitor the status of your Element TotalProtect protection.
| Alert level | What it means | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Secure | Element TotalProtect is up to date and a virus scan has been performed at least once a week and all your protection components are switched on. | Make sure you continue to keep Element TotalProtect up to date and you run a full system scan at least once a week. |
| Meduim | Some non-crucial defense components are switched off, or your copy of Element TotalProtect is not up to date. | Turn on all beneficial defense components, run an update, run a virus scan and verify your license is current. |
| At Risk | Either Element TotalProtect real-time protection is turned off, your license has expired, a scan has never been run, or your definitions are out of date. | Activate a new license, turn on all protection components, run a system scan and update your virus definitions. |
