Activation is a mandatory feature in Element TotalProtect and helps combat software piracy by insuring that your licensed copy of Element TotalProtect is genuine and legal. Software Piracy harms both the users and the software publishers. Always insure that any software product you have on your computer is legitimate.

Element TotalProtect Activation is a one-click process which connects to the internet and checks if your license is current, and activates the license online. Once the license is activated, it can only be used on the computer you activated it on unless you contact Element Software support and remove the product from your computer first before installing it on another.

To activate your product;

1. Open the Element TotalProtect Protection Center by clicking Start, clicking Programs, and then the clicking Element TotalProtect folder, Element TotalProtect.
2. If your product has not been activated yet, the activation process will automatically begin (if it does not the protection center will Open)
3. Follow the activation wizard to successfully activate your product. Insure you are connected to the internet before continuing.
4. To check your activation status, Click Help and Support, Click About. If the product is genuine and properly licensed, it will display the text This product is properly activated.

If you have problems activating the product, insure that your license is current, you are connected to the internet and that you are not working behind a proxy. If all fails, please contact support@elementsoftware.co.uk and we will manually activate the product for you.
